With a focus primarily on European Union and South America, Ed executes M&A deals from sourcing, evaluation and negotiations to due diligence, raising leverage financing and final sign off.

Prior to joining New Degree Growth, Ed was a deeptech VC-stage investor and management business consultant. With total of $157M in investments and matching amount of non-dilutive financing, he supported 37 later-stage startup companies in Life Sciences, IT, Energy Efficiency and Telecommunication. As a consultant, Ed managed 23 commercial due diligence and strategy development projects for UE-based Private Equity funds. Ed is an MD, Ph.D. in Life Sciences and MBA.
